Hello, I’m Beka

As a millennial, I sometimes linger between feeling too young and too damn old, but here’s what I know for sure: I’m exactly where I need to be, using every bit of my experience to help mothers trust themselves.

I’m an Enneagram 8, which means I believe conflict is a way to connect. So yes, I challenge authority often and encourage you to do the same—especially when it comes to your body, your birth, and your choices. I married my college boyfriend, moved to North Florida, and together we made four boys—though if you look at our family, you’ll only see three. Our middle son Miles passed away at 19 weeks in 2020. This loss is part of my story, a chapter I don’t shy away from sharing. Talking about him honors his place in our family and breaks the silence surrounding pregnancy loss. This is your only warning—there’s no trigger warning here. Our lost babies aren’t meant to be hidden in shame closets.

If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m someone who believes in questioning the norm. Conflict is connection, remember? Over the years, motherhood has sharpened my instincts and my resolve to trust them. That’s exactly what I want for you too—trusting yourself in birth and motherhood.

Whether you’re here to learn, be encouraged, or just satisfy your curiosity, I’m thankful you stopped by. Let’s challenge the way things are “supposed” to be and embrace the way they’re meant to be.
